Alida Holt, MS

Professional counselor Associate

West Linn Office

Alida is a Professional Counselor Associate who is passionate about supporting individuals in building insight, resilience, and meaningful change. She earned her Master’s degree in Applied Psychological Science and brings a thoughtful, compassionate approach to her work with clients.

Alida’s clinical experience includes work in the Oregon State Hospital, community mental health, school counseling, and private practice. This diverse background allows her to take a holistic and flexible approach, meeting each client where they are and tailoring care to their unique experiences and needs.

Her approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, empowerment, and a deep respect for the complexity of each individual’s story. Alida provides trauma-informed and culturally responsive care, creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood.

Alida is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based approach for processing trauma. She also integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation, increase self-awareness, and build practical coping skills.

In her work, Alida helps clients explore patterns and narratives that may be shaping their current experiences, while also creating space to reconnect with personal values, strengthen relationships, and develop a more authentic voice. Her goal is to support clients in moving toward a more fulfilling and aligned life—whatever that may look like for them.

Alida believes that everyone deserves a space to process both the heavy and meaningful parts of life with someone they trust, and she is honored to walk alongside her clients in that process.
