Jessica Karriker, LPC
Jessica is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She believes first and foremost in a systemic approach to healing children, individuals and families. She addresses challenges surrounding prenatal history, early childhood history, physical and mental health, family history, support systems and more. Her approach is strength based and family centered, meaning that all of the focus is not on what is going wrong but rather building upon what is going right.
Honoring each person’s individual uniqueness allows clients to relax and fully engage in therapeutic process. Jessica specializes in the treatment of trauma, behavioral challenges, separation and divorce, mood disorders and anxiety disorders in children, adolescents and adults.
Jamie Williams, LPC
Jamie is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of clinical experience in multiple modalities. With over 900 hours in post-graduate training, she has specialized in the treatment of children, adults and families with a history of trauma, adoption, foster care, and attachment issues. Jamie is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Level II in EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association). Jamie is also trained and experienced in using Ther-a-play, Parent Child Interactive Therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, sand tray, art therapy, movement therapy and equine assisted psychotherapy.
Jamie utilizes her extensive training in international and domestic adoption, and understanding of the neurobiology and treatment of trauma to support families and individuals reach a deeper level of connection and attachment to themselves and loved ones. During her years as a professional counselor, she has had the opportunity to use her skills to support her clients in increasing their ability to engage fully in their lives.
